Where recruitment traffic comes from in 2025

A short list of current recruitment traffic sources, from job boards and offline advertising to CPA networks, sponsored posts and contextual ads.

A crowd of couriers in green and pink uniforms as a metaphor for high-volume recruitment traffic

We really want to talk about new tools that we believe will significantly change high-volume recruitment.

But we have not covered the tools already in use.

So, briefly and to the point: where recruitment traffic comes from in 2025

  1. Job boards. HeadHunter, Avito Jobs and so on. When you exhaust that source, call us!
  2. Offline advertising. Banners or even posters at apartment building entrances. Old school.
  3. CPA networks. A “bottomless source”: a marketplace where you post your offer and set a reward for a target action. A publisher then finds those applications for you somewhere online. Everything is used, from paid ads to viral reels.
  4. Email campaigns. You need a database of potential candidates' email addresses. The people above have plenty of those.
  5. Sponsored posts. Targeted purchases of advertising posts and videos in communities, mainly on Telegram.
  6. Targeted and contextual advertising. You can reach a job seeker before they decide to visit a job board. These ads can find them on social media, in email, in messengers — anywhere. Yandex and VK currently dominate this market. A couple of Western services used to compete for this slice of the pie too.

If you are facing an acute staffing shortage, go through this list. You may have missed a tool and failed to reach potential employees.

What do we use? As usual, give us 10 🔥 reactions, and we will follow up with insights and forecasts for these sources!
